LINCOLN HIGHWAY

DISTANCE: 60 miles
TIME: 1.5 hours

This historic PA motorcycle road offers sweeping turns, grand views and long straightaways. The best of this route is between Breezewood, PA and the Route 75 junction, but most consider it roadworthy further east to Chambersburg, PA. Either way, history is embedded in this transcontinental highway, and this section will provide charming, country towns to pass through along the way.

LANCASTER LOOP

DISTANCE: 52 miles
TIME: 1.5 hours

Some of the best Pennsylvania motorcycle rides are in scenic Amish country. PA-23 and PA-340 has some wide open stretches with fine views of farmlands and hills. Overall, the pavement is very good quality along this route, and makes for an enjoyable ride. Tall trees and hills occupy much of this historic scenic road near Pennsylvania's Allegheny Mountains. The southern portion of this route crosses the Youghiogheny River Lake and Fort Necessity National Battlefield, while the western side has some vast sweeping views of the open countryside. The pavement quality is very good as well on this motorcycle ride in Pennsylvania.

Experience "The Big Valley" (Kishacoquillas Valley) on this great Pennsylvania motorcycle road on Route 665 directly in the center of the state. This route will take you through the heart of Amish country with some beautiful, peaceful landscapes of the Pennsylvania countryside.

Between the above mentioned Rte 6 and US-220 is a fantastic portion of Route 44 that will offer both natural beauty and fun curves. There's very little by way of crossroads or traffic lights, and almost no traffic. This secluded ride is full of great views of nature along with everything else that makes an exhilarating ride – fast pace turns, elevation changes and sweepers. Sight lines are short on this curvy road and there are some blind turns too, so stay vigilant on this great Pennsylvania motorcycle road. A section of Route 44 from U.S. Route 6 in Potter County to the Lycoming County line – including Cherry Springs State Park – is known as the “Highway to the Stars.” This area is spectacular for it's evening star gazing.

LAUREL HIGHLANDS SCENIC BYWAY
